It is unfortunate that any attempt to make the USA electoral system fairer and more democratic will fail. That is because vested interests are controlling the debate. Super delegates are not the problem. The election of all representatives to the Federal Government should be run by the Federal Government and campaign expenses should be paid for by the Federal Government where each candidate has an equal budget. Television time should be awarded by networks to candidates on an equal basis for free as part of their obligation for federal communications licenses as occurs in most democratic nations around the world. Most nations around the globe stare in wonder at the USA electoral system where it's citizens accept mandatory jury duty as a necessary part of citizenship while mandatory voting, a necessity for real democracy and a means to make any act of disenfranchisement a federal crime, as an attack on personal freedom. We are now entering the face-palm zone.

How did you put private corporate organizations like the DNC and the RNC in control of the Federal Government? In the same way that your money flow is controlled by the privately owned FED? So, where to start. The core of the problem is the belief that the USA is the best country on Earth. It really isn't but I implore Americans to aim for it by doing what the best countries actually do. They look around at what others have done and steal the best ideas from them. to begin you require a revolution and the only kind that will work and not make things worse is if Americans stop and sit down in the streets in their millions as Gandhi did. This won't happen yet of course because things just aren't bad enough.
